My daughter age 6, is an early reader and has very little patience and stamina. She spends a good 20 minutes a day in this program!
How will this help my child?
Truth be told my daughter is a math genius. She likes to do the math for fun, so I just let her use math seeds whenever she wants. She plays a lot of math games, so it’s great practice. For kids, that aren’t that great in math, between all the activities and games, they will quickly pick up math in no time. It also tests your child ahead of time so they are at the appropriate part of the course to start.
The English/phonics side of things also gives a pre-test to place the child appropriately. 1 this helps with boredom, a child who knows all their sounds is not going to want to start from scratch. 2ndly, where they place your child they are gonna start learning skills on day 1. This helps them with confidence and knowledge in that particular area. They also use tiles and have the children spell words. It’s amazing at the start of the program my daughter could read maybe a handful of words. Yet the program had her spelling a good 10 or 20 words. I am still shocked she can spell more words than she can read!
